Annie Wersching
Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress known for her part as Renee Walker in the American television series 24 and also for her voice and motion capture for the character of Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. Star Trek: Enterprise: Wersching was her first appearance as an actor. Later, she had guest-starring roles on shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March to November 2007 she played the role as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap drama General Hospital. She also appeared in theatres like Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival During her young years, she was a competitor in Irish dance and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. After her two-season stint in 24 Wersching played a guest role on numerous shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). She was a regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch's first season in 2014. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was shown in the trailer for the story shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching will be playing the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard
